Work Experience Gained Remotely For PR - CEC and FSWP

Hey Guys,

I have a quick question for those who might have been in the same boat as me.

So, I recently completed my 1 year of work experience in Canada, making me qualify for CEC (Canadian Experience Class) and FSW (Foreign Skilled Worker Program). Then, I came to India for a family medical emergency and here I have to stay for 3 - 4 months. In this period, I will be working from home with the approval of my company.

The question is "Will these 3-4 months be counted towards CEC/FSW for PR" or not?

You can count these months as foreign work experience but not Canadian work experience.

Essentially the 3-4 months won’t count as Canadian experience just work experience. As you know CRS scores are very high so you may want to focus on PNP programs as well.

It will count as foreign experience.
