I have total one year experience including my 4 month internship period. So my question is that is they consider one year experience or not for my profile ?

Thanks in advance. :)

Are we talking Canadian or foreign work experience?

Was this internship paid?

The internship experience does not count as your skilled work experience.
As told from my lawyer, for Canadian Experience,
only the experience while you are holding your Work Permit ( as well as the PGWP) will be count.
So it is only one year.

Skilled work experience must be paid, your internship period will not count.

I have a question about foreign work experience. Are pay stubs necessary besides a reference letter for the foreign work experience you get points for? In some countries including my home country some private companies do not even give pay stubs to their employees.

The reference letter is mandatory, anything else you can provide is an added plus.

So that might still be possible that they later ask for pay stubs, right? If so, would explaining that your employer does not provide pay stubs be sufficient?

Then they might ask for other type of proof to see if you were paid such as bank statements.

Thank you for the reply. In my case, I now live in a different country and closed all my bank accounts back home. Would providing my employment contract be a solution here? And is that common practice for them to ask for other means of work experience proof besides a reference letter?

Even if the internship was paid?

That's up to the officer to decide if he does ask for further proof of employment.
