Was this internship paid?
i have 1 year experience in my home country. actually i started work in company as an intern after 2-3 month i am started work as an employee and its not paid internship.Lucky_Reno said:The internship experience does not count as your skilled work experience.
As told from my lawyer, for Canadian Experience,
only the experience while you are holding your Work Permit ( as well as the PGWP) will be count.
So it is only one year.

The reference letter is mandatory, anything else you can provide is an added plus.Alii2017 said:I have a question about foreign work experience. Are pay stubs necessary besides a reference letter for the foreign work experience you get points for? In some countries including my home country some private companies do not even give pay stubs to their employees.
So that might still be possible that they later ask for pay stubs, right? If so, would explaining that your employer does not provide pay stubs be sufficient?DelPiero07 said:The reference letter is mandatory, anything else you can provide is an added plus.
Then they might ask for other type of proof to see if you were paid such as bank statements.Alii2017 said:So that might still be possible that they later ask for pay stubs, right? If so, would explaining that your employer does not provide pay stubs be sufficient?
Thank you for the reply. In my case, I now live in a different country and closed all my bank accounts back home. Would providing my employment contract be a solution here? And is that common practice for them to ask for other means of work experience proof besides a reference letter?DelPiero07 said:Then they might ask for other type of proof to see if you were paid such as bank statements.

That's up to the officer to decide if he does ask for further proof of employment.Alii2017 said:Thank you for the reply.
