work experience for OINP and CEC

Hi,

I have the following work-ex.

Company 1 (current and latest): NOC A 2171 - I wish to apply under this NOC.
Total work-Ex = 4 years 2 months (50 months)
off which foreign work-ex = 2 years 11 months (35 months)
Canadian experience (same company onsite location) = 1 year 3 months (15 months)

I'm worried that I am not meeting the 3 years foreign work experience as requested by CEC. I have other foreign work experience but I'm afraid it comes under NOC 2173.

I got invitation to apply for OINP. Is it fine if I proceed with the above work-ex? Please advise.

Yes, it's fine. Can't comment about FSW, but at least you're probably meeting requirements for CEC. CEC doesn' require 3 years foreign work experience, only 1 year Canadian experience in the last 3 years.

Thank you but my concern is while filling EE profile I have given I have 3 or more years of foreign work experience , whereas I fall short by 1 month if I consider NOC 2171 alone. Not worried about Canadian work-ex.
