Work Experience for CEC Category

Hello ,
I am planning to apply for Canadian PR under CEC category. I have completed two years of schooling and have started working full time since June 15 2013.I left to my home country on March 1 2014 and returned back on April 7th 2014 (for marriage). During this period I was on unpaid leave on my job.My question is will this period be counted towards my 12 months or do i have to work 5 more weeks after June 15 2014 ?
Also , I have made few short trips to the states on long weekends which were part of my paid leaves . Do i have to exclude those days too when counting those 12 months ?

You can count upto 2 weeks of paid vacation when calculating your work experience for CEC. Any unpaid leave cannot be counted. You can also refer to the CEC operational manual, which can be found on www.cic.gc.ca. It has more information on how vacation time can be included under CEC.

(THIS WILL NOT BE COUNTED TOWARDS YOUR CEC EXPERIENCE) My question is will this period be counted towards my 12 months or do i have to work 5 more weeks after June 15 2014 ?

I was looking at the Operational Manual 6.3 section (full time work ).
It states that atleast 30 hrs of work per week. I work full 40 hours a week starting from June 15 th 2013. Does this make a difference to me by any chance?

i was referrin to the following lines in the operational manual
"work in excess of 30 hours a week over a shorter period cannot compensate for any shorter overall period of experience "

Unfortunately, no. Even if you work 50 hours a week, it doesn't make any difference. You still need to work full time for 1 full year.

You need to work for at least 30 hours a week (full time or part time equivalent) for at least one year. Both the conditions must be fulfilled before you can apply for your PR under CEC. In case you work for longer than 30 hours, you cannot use the extra hours to apply earlier than indicated.
