Guys,
I have been working in a company as a trainee engineer for almost 9 mths. Hopefully by july i'll be able to make an application if my job is in the FSWP list.

I wanted to ask you, will my job experience be counted, because on the new point basis i'll be caliming for this one year.

Thanks

a gentle bump :)

Cmon guys, there must be someone who knows this...Ill be really thankful

Your situation is too vague to tell you anything. Try being more specific about your 'training' experience.

Namaste apologies for being vague. Here it is," by july 13 i will have 1 year experience as a trainee engg in an NOC that i am quite hopeful will be in the list".

Can working as a trainee engg(for 1 year), I ll be able to claim work experience points i.e. 2.

I hope this clears the situation :)...

Thanks

1) Did your training begin after you received your degree?
2) Is your experience paid with benefits?
3) How many hours per week do you work?
4) What do you mean by training? Who trains you and what for?

Eligibility of your work experience will depend on answers to these questions.

Actually its well after my graduation...I worked as a drilling engineer for more than 3.5 years. Due to pay issues i joined another streamline in drilling industry where i have to almost start from scratch...

2) Is your experience paid with benefits?

Yes it is laong with the benefits

3) How many hours per week do you work?for

Its not hours per week...My job is at field site for which they require me to go there..if i am not there I am off from duty, other than getting occasional calls from office to work in the yard..Its a full time job for which i am getting a basic pay(on call basis..i have to go wen ever i gt a call on immediate basis)...ill get this basic pay even if i dont go to work for couple of months...and when im at field i get a bonus per day in addition to the basic...

4) What do you mean by training? Who trains you and what for?

I work in shifts..12 hrs on/off...for a job there are two guys in a day..initially i was third man wen i was getting training(more like getting familiar wi tools etc)...Now I am the second man..meaning i am working independently for the last 8 months...

Hope it clear :) and thanks.

Eligibility of your work experience will depend on answers to these questions.

In that case your work experience will qualify. The point that you were training under somebody is irrelevant. You might also want to look into skilled trade category since you have experience in drilling. Here's the website:
