Work experience document and Pay Slip

If i provide bank statement with work experience, do I've to provide salary slip too?

As far as I know, you need to provide a payslip or an end of year tax form.

I wonder if just a bank statement might not contain enough information about where the funds came from/what they're for.

That said, it is only for proof of salary... so not sure.

Why are you providing bank statements with work experience when CIC doesn't ask for this?

All CIC needs is a letter (on company letterhead) from past employer(s) that mentions your job profile(s), roles and responsibilities, start and end date(s), remuneration, working hours/week and signed by the concerned authority.

If you can get this, no need for pay slips/bank statements. Those are additional documents applicants provide to try and convince VOs that their employment was genuine in the absence of the above letter.
