Hi can anyone tell me whether my profile is eligible for Canadian PR
..because my bachelor's degree is in mechanical engineering...and my overall experience is in IT ..working as software tester
Having 6 years of overall experience

Hi,

You should be able to get it. They are not completely separate. Now how would you get into IT without any certification or license? See the same question will pop into the officer's head. If you are able to elaborate on it, then by all means give it a try! Did you have any IT training or anything? Add it to your experience. Make sure you can support your claims.

Best of luck,

Thanks a lot guys :)
I did a 6 months course on Software Testing after completion of my graduation and i have course completion certificate for same.
Like uou mentioned, i would able to elaborate on the same if questioned. Is it fine if i produce the same certificate?
