Hello all,

I have some question regarding how CIC would determine my work experience.

I have been working for 2 years,

From August 2016 to Present (Sept 25 2018) which makes it two years of work experience. i work for 37.5 hours per week. So my question is,

would CIC deduct hours for vacation i took during my work or would it deduct any hours for holidays during my work?

And just to be sure, hope this period of work experience will be calculated as two years.

Thanks :)

For two years period number of hours should be 3120.

If the vacations are paid then they are counted towards the work experience requirements

Hi Everybody! I have a similar question about work experience. I was continuously employed full-time (32 hour per week) as a teacher at one school in one NOC for 728 days. That makes it 1 year, 11 months, 29 days. I am absolutely confused and feel unsure about how many years of experience outside Canada I can claim to get points for Express Entry and the FSW program. Should I indicate 2 years of experience in this NOC or is it safer to claim 1 year? I would be most grateful if anybody could give some clarification or suggestions.
