Hi Guyz
Need your help. I am about to make an express entry profile. Currently, I am working for a company, this November 2018 I will be completing one year. As part of my study I have done my Co-op with the same company from May 2017 to August 2017 and applied for PGWP on 25th October 2017.

So my question is after completing my studies in Aug 2017, I was still working full time for 2 months i.e September and October before applying for PGWP. My 2017 T4 shows income from May 2017 to Jan 2018. Can I face the problem if, I submit my T4?

Please help me guyz

No issue as long as you were not working on a full-time basis. Also, you shouldn't be creating an express entry profile if you do not meet the eligibility requirement under the CEC program (assuming no foreign work experience).

Yeah... technically those 2 months were unauthorized...

You face a problem because you were working without authorization. Whether or not you submit your T4, it is likely that IRCC will know this.

For a short time, it seemed like IRCC was being harsh about this, but I haven't heard of anyone recently being penalized for working without authorization in this specific scenario - a lot of people make this mistake. You can't claim those 2 months as work experience, but I don't think you will be refused because of it (Again, some people were refused, so there are no guarantees). You could ignore it and see if IRCC ignores it too - , but... the other option is to write a brief letter of explanation about your mistake, say you realize now it was unauthorized etc and grovel for forgiveness...

I agree with DelPiero, you should wait on submitting a profile until you qualify (October 25...). Of course you can enter info, but I wouldn't submit it until you are eligible.

Thank You so much for the help. I will write a letter and apply after completion of one year.

Do you think I should ask my employer to mention in my Co-op period in the reference Letter?

They probably would anyway. It wouldn't hurt.
