Hi everyone,
I just got an update on my EE profile. My CRS point increased from 423 to 463 which reflects an increase from 1 year of Canadian work experience to 2 years of it. However, technically, I still have not completed 104 weeks of work just yet. After reading through other posts on the internet, I found this is due to the glitch in EE system because it doesn't have a section in work history to indicate which day of the month you started and finished your work and calculates each month as a full month.
My Canadian work experience is as follows (Both are full-time 40h/week positions with qualified NOC) :
July 23rd to October 31st 2018 >>>>>>> Exactly 14 weeks and 2 days
November 19th 2018 to present >>>>>>> Exactly 80 weeks by Monday June 1st 2020
Now, I've not got an ITA yet but with the current scores I will probably getting it next round. I see three options here and I'd like to know which one do you think is the best.
1. I keep my profile as is. I receive an ITA in the next round. I wait until August 7th 2020 when I complete 104 weeks of work and then I accept the ITA.
2. I change the dates on my profile to the nearest month forward so that I get my point increase two month from now. (First week of August)
3. I wait till I get an ITA, decline it and wait till August 7th and submit again (This does not make any sense to me because I can just avoid delining by going with option 1)
Your help is very much appreciated.
I hope this helps many other people find out what's best for them as well.
Thanks,
A
