So I realized I made a little mistake in the package I sent to immigration. I added a copy of my current Canadian passport in my Sponsorship application folder and wrote on that page... *Copies of my old passports are in the proof of relationship folder.

Then in the proof of relationship folder I do have copies of my old passports and stamps, except I included a copy of my CURRENT US passport which is the first page and on that page I wrote *These are copies of my old passports and pages with the stamps. Will that matter that it is not an old one but a current one? Shouldn't be a big deal right? And In the box on the sponsorship application where it asks for your passport number I only put my Canadian one not the US one.

Which brings me to my second question...I am a dual citizen Canadian and US because I married my US husband and then applied for the US Citizenship 5 years after I got my US permanent residency. I am still elgible to sponsor my husband to Canada right?

Which sponsorship form asks for your passport number? Document checklist asks for a copy of the bio-date page of your passport...but no forms ask you to enter it. Are you sure you got it right?

Also, I don't think a minor mistake will be a problem...just a bit confusing for the VO...but they'll figure it out.

That's the principal applicant form. Whew...Lemondrop had me worried for a moment...I thought I (the sponsor) had forgot to put my passport number!!

Thanks,

Oops, sorry, you're absolutely right. There definitely isn't any part of the forms asking for the sponsor's passport number, only the applicant's.

Sorry for scaring you Fencesitter, lol...now I realize yah, it's only the permanent resident applicant that has to add the passport number, not the sponsor. But hopefully that minor mistake I made about saying those are my old passports shouldn't matter....triple citizenship? lol, then I shouldn't have to worry about that one.
