I pressume that when you checked your e cas you still used the file number you received from Nova Scotia. AT this state you have not received any AOR with file number from London CHC, right?

The withdrawn status just simply means that your file has been withdrawn from Nova Scotia CIO and was transferred to your local visa office which is London.

if yes than do you know how long it takes ? I applied a nearly 2 months ago and still haven't received any e mail or acknowledgment letter. please some once let me know how long it takes to get confirmation.

Yes you will receive another file number from London. You will receive new file number 2-3 months from submission of full docs. It used to be only 45 days but due to the bulk of applications they received from the start of that Feb 27 rule in my estimate these days it will take 2-3 months.

last questions. i had an immigration agent when i applied to nova Scotia at first stage. then i had a dispute with him and i submitted full documents to London visa office on my own. right.

I attached a form to cancelled previous immigration agent. I also prepare a covering letter to cancel all correspondence to my previous agent. But all this things i did it without telling my agent.

Now i submitted application on 28th April 2010. My agent wasn't aware of it. He sent a courier to chc London on 7th may 2010 asking for extension for 120 days as he didn't get any documents from my side.


after few days when i check my status on e cas its shows received by visa office and its pending in review.

now before few days as i mentioned earlier its shows file withdrawn by visa office on e cas. its say we started processing your application on 22th June 2010. a decision has been made on your application and we will contact you concerning this.

Now today 9th July i received a called from previous agent and he was saying that they received a second file number in India from London chc ? is that possible ? they said they received it on 7th may 2010. do they said acknowledgement letter that quickly ? is it possible ? (they may be liaing to me ? )

as i haven't received at my home address any letter by post. On my e cas still showing old immigration agent as i haven't received second AOR ( file number )

can any expert please advise me what to do in this complicated situation as i have no clue what to do ?

I dont quite understand. Perhaps you can write what happened again, with the dates and what happened like this.

28 April - I send application to CHC London without telling consultant.
7 May - Consultant in India asked for extension from CHC London as he was not aware that I had already sent the documents.
22 June - Status showed...

It depends on what CHC London received first. If they first received your application on April 28 with the letter to cancel this agent as a representative, then they should have ignored the agents request for an extension on May 7 but if your application from April 28 was still in the mail on May 7 when the agent asked for an extension, something else might have happened.

As far as I am aware, they generally do not grant extensions to the 120 days and I do not know even if they had granted an extension why they would give you a new file number. Maybe the agent is lying. As far as I can see, the only thing you can do now is to contact CHC London again and ask them exactly what is going on. Write them a letter explaining that on April 28, you sent full documents and a request to remove representative and on May 7, your former representative whom you'd had removed on April 28 requested an extension without your knowledge and now he's claiming to have received correspondance regarding your application so you need to get this agent removed as your representative once and for all and find out what is going on with your application.

It was not a good decision in your part for not informing your consultant that you had cancelled them as your representative and that you had already submitted your full docs. Your dilemma right now was caused by these wrong actions.

To confirm if indeed your consultant had received the AOR from London, why dont you ask them to send you a scanned copy of the AOR. I do this all the time with my consultant. I have all the scanned copies of all the correspondence from London CHC. They must not refuse your request. If they do, report them to the CIC authorities, CIC is in the hype these days of hunting stupid consultants. You have the right to have the copies of all the letters from CHC.

Not until you see the copy of the AOR, do not take some actions yet..

do you know how long it takes to get new file number ? as i been informed on this forum it may take 90 days after submitting full documents.

i submitted full documents on 22nd april 2010. as of now i havent received any acknowledgment letter or havent received any file number. E cas status as i mentioned earlier showing withdrawn as i m still using old file number.

i am planning to wait few more days and then send chc london about case specific inquiry about the issue.
any more advise what else i can do ? is any have a phone number of chc london ?
