Last thing, do you maybe have any knowledge in the matter of possibility of getting documents back? That would actually save a lot of costs, instead of getting things notarized and translated again..
Of course, sending pre-paid envelope to make everything easier for them.
I found statement like this, regarding when sponsor writes to CPC wishing to discontinue and processing for PR didn't being yet: 'CPC returns any documents still in the CPC and/or informs visa office of discontinuance'

So we sent the withdrawal through webform, my bf called help center to confirm they got it. In the meantime we got AOR, but the lady in the call center said the withdrawal request is already on the notes and should be processed soon.
She also asked if I applied to withdraw OWP, and my bf didn't know what to answer, so he said he doesn't know, and she didn't comment on it.

Am I right on this - if we withdraw sponsorship, there is no need to withdraw OWP separately, since it's a part of sponsorship and PR application?
