Little background info, the first time I applied for a study permit was for Fall'22, I withdrew my file due to visa delays because my classes already commenced and offered deferment was for Fall'23. Also, no online classes were being offered for my course. Anyhow, I had an offer for Concordia University for Winter22 so I refiled my visa again for Concordia. My first visa was withdrawn on 22nd Sep and I reapplied on 7th Oct.
My concern is that, in my SOP, I have not mentioned why I withdrew or anything regarding withdrawal. I treated it as a fresh file. But in the visa form, IMM1249, it was asked if I have previously applied for a Canada visa of any type (student, visitor, etc) so I ticked yes and in the comments, I wrote quote to quote
"I had applied previously for my study permit application for University of Calgary for Fall'22 intake but due to the visa delay issues I had withdrawn the file as my program was already commenced."
The question in my mind is, will this hinder the decision of my file? As I have already stated in the visa form about the withdrawal but not in SOP, is this something I did wrong?
Please help me out here!
