Withdrawl of Canadian Application

Hi All,

I applied for Canada Immigeration on Federal Skilled Worker class at Sydney and was further refered to send original documents to Candian High Commission in London, but due to some reason I could not continue the further process of the applicationa and now 120 days period have elapsed and expired now.

I need to know couple of things:-

Does the Withdrawl of application is automatic if the application is not processed within 120 time period? if not then where and how to contact?
I have moved the property, how and where I should inform them to change my address to refund of fee to the new address (if they send cheque).

Every help will be appreciated,

i think they wont refund your fee in this situation.its my guess dont take it serious.seniors may tell you accurate.

I am really not sure if you can claim refund even now after passing 120 days limit too. Your application has been proccessed and they will make a decision on base of " Non responding" refuse. There is no refund if application has been process and refuse. What your e-case staatus says? Use your file number thats starts with BXXXXXXXXX and check your status here

Client Application Update says:-

We received your application for permanent residence on January 14, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on January 19, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

So what should I do, I knew befor 120 days elapsed time that I won't apply, I would knew that I had to maunally withdraw the application for refund of fee, I would have done it, anyways please update what can be done.

They will refuse your application and will give you a refund

On what step money is refundable.

ie if Application sent and is rejected from Sydney or at when Documents are sent to to Local CHC Office.

Hi,

If the application is refused at first stage i.e Sydney then Sydney will initiate the refund. If approved by sydney and 120 days are elapsed, you need to contact the relevant visa office to initiate the refund. Visa office will start refund process anyways after 120 days. If you are not submitting the full application, you may send visa office the refund request

I checked on the website and it says Refund will only be if rejected at first step.

So according to them what is the first step.

No refund in case of rejection after one qualifies 67 points and i.e. cross stage 2. Before stage 2, refund is there.

Actually I am preparing myself for everything. Though I dnt want anything like this.

I am praying to God to get my Application accepted at Sydney and then I would be sending my docs to CHC New Delhi.

Hello,

After submitting initial application to Sydney and they found it to be illigible for process under the new rules they will issue a file number for you. Once you have reached this stage, then you will withdraw your application, you will not receive any refund.

If you had withdawn your application before they have issued you a file number, then you will receive a refund.

After Sydney received your application and they found you not illigible for process you will receive refusal letter and the refund of your application fee.
