Hi all,

So i was able to successfully withdraw my profile and re submit and i must say maybe they added a few new things to both EE and Job bank cause some of the questions im like  that looks new lol.

I answered yes to having a previous express entry profile and put in the number because im sure they would know I previously did lol

I did have a few questions though, if i answered anything wrong i will go back in and edit

-> when it comes to work history, one of the first questions is when did you become qualified for the job you are basing your application on ( i do not rmr seeing this questions when I first made my profile) , it also goes on to say it would be the minimum requirement according to the NOC Code, so if its high school you put the day you finished high school.

Since mine is university , I put when i finished university.. please let me know if this is correct.

Thank you all for your help, i really do appreciate it! Bless you All

I think it's correct but your post prompted me to look at mine again as well. My NOC code (1111) states the following:

Employment requirements

Chartered accountants require a university degree
and
Completion of a professional training program approved by a provincial institute of chartered accountants and, depending on the province, either two years or 30 months of on-the-job training
and
Membership in a provincial Institute of Chartered Accountants upon successful completion of the Uniform Evaluation (UFE).

The thing is you have to acquire a 'Bachelors degree' before you can get a designation. I have mistakenly put the date I got the designation (not the date I got my Bachelors Degree). I have raised the question to see what others in the forum think.

When I read it I was so confused because I am pretty sure that wasn't a question the first time I filled it out, I know it had two parts to that question - one was if you had a certificate to practise that profession and then the next part just said for "other jobs" it would be the minimum requirement according to your NOC Code.

Please let me know what you find out, thanks :)

Well this is what I haven't decided to:

1) LOE informing CIC in my country you are essentially 'qualified' to work as an Accountant on the day you get your Bachelors Degree. As you are supervised by a CA and as long as you don't sign off on work to be presented to clients its ok. To illustrate my case I will attach copies of examples of job ads in government and the private sector which requires Bachelors of Accounting with the option of a CA being valuable but not essential. I will also attach legislation (pronouncements) stating this issued by the professional accounting body.

2) Information stating that I input the year I got my CA (not Bachelors Degree) to comply with CICs letter of the law requirement (not my practical interpretation of their requirement).

3) Written confirmation from CPA Ontario that I could not physically write the reciprocal designation exams without being in Canada.

Please tell me anything else I could possibly add.

HoPe90, does your NOC say Bachelors Degree and 'Other qualifications' like my NOC?

my NOC 1224 is for Property Administrators and the minimum requirement seems to be high school but I just put when I completed my Bachelors Degree because I didnt go to high school here, I came in 2007 and did a pre uni course ( for about 8 months ) here to get an Ontario Diploma ( I didnt add that as part of education to my express entry, now coming to think about it, I should probably add it) and then I went on to do my bachelors degree so I just figured it works better for me if i just use the date I completed my bachelors.

My opinion only; add all your education so you can be honest and truthful. It never hurts.

Do you think my LOE and attachments will be sufficient?

I think it should be sufficient and if they need any more paper work im sure they will contact you.

Honestly I am not even sure why they added that question, it makes sense for skilled trades work but for other jobs I am not so sure why.

Thanks I will add the ontario diploma, I just assumed giving education in canada if you did go to school here is sufficient enough
