Hi guys,

I have had my express entry profile created April 2014, I have 444 points and have 8.5 for my IELTS. I was wondering if I should withdraw and resubmit my application as it seems there are people with less points than me that have received Ontario PT. I have over three years work experience in Canada and over one year in Noc Skill B.

Please let me know what you think because I believe I read somewhere that Ontario only selects individuals that created their profile after June 2014.

Please let me know what you think, this seems to have worked for several individuals.

EE was launched in Jan 2015, hence I believe that you created your profile in April 2015 and not April 2014.

It has been clearly mentioned in the below link to recreate a new EE profile after 24th Nov. 2015 to receive PT:

Yes it was April 2014, sorry about that. typo

Thank you guys, I will do so today.

Recreated my profile on friday - yesterday and BOOM...got the notification of interest to apply for Ontario PNP..

I will definitely withdraw and resubmit today

Should i recreate the new EE profile first before withdrawing the old one?

Loooooool . April 2015 lol

does anyone know if i have to get a new reference code to create the new profile for EE? I was following some steps online and says to create the new profile before deleting the old one, but when i put in the new refernce code it says i already have an application in process becasue i havent deleted the old one.

anyone have any suggestions? should i make the new one without the reference code? then delete the old one?

Please let me know.

Haven't done this myself but here's what I'm thinking:

1) withdraw old profile

2) use come to Canada tool to create new profile

3) create new profile

Are you saying this doesn't work? If it doesn't I'm at a loss.

I actually didnt withdraw my old profile just yet but i had seen a post by Asvic ( i think thats how its spelt) and it said to delete your old profile should be the last step you do.

So i attempted creating the new one with the old one still not withdrawn just yet. i used the come to canada tool and thats how i got the new reference code but once i put the code in it states that i already have an application in process because the old one is still there.

That's right though isn't it? From what I know you can only have 1 profile at 1 time. The System won't let you create more than 1. If you want to start a new profile you must withdraw the old one.

Yes that makes absolute sense. I am just a bit scared cause iv been hearing the online services are down, so I dont want to withdraw and attempt making a new one and I am stuck not being able to .

I dont know if the system being down also applies to creating a EE profile.

The indication of the system being down is not being able to login to your account and withdraw the old profile and create a new profile. If you can do these things then it means the system is up and running.
