I submitted my opnp application last Thursday i.e,16th July 2015 and later I received express entry invitation on 17th July 2015.
Is there any way I can withdraw my opnp application to get my application fee back.
Thanks
You are right in thinking that these 1500 CAD won't be refunded unless your application is returned for being incomplete. As you've got an ITA, this OOPNP application won't be of any further use to your profile.MG84 said:I had notified them 3 days after they had received my application package and by then I obviously did not receive an AOR as well.
I tried to convince them but they have finally sent me an email yesterday saying processing starts when they actually receive the application package and not when then send us an AOR.
'f you receive and accept an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from CIC or a nomination from another province or territory after you have already applied to OOPNP, your application fee to OOPNP will not be refunded. Application fees are non-refundable even if an application is withdrawn or denied, as they cover OOPNP's cost of processing applications.' Application Guide.
There is no way of getting the money back unless you are lucky and you missed out something in the application and they need to return it
I have decided not to withdraw but I am not sure if I can benefit in an way from a PN since my application for PR will already be under process by that time.
Can anyone share their thoughts on this ?

I have 2 questions please.
1.
Do you think I will be able to accept a PN once my application has been locked.
I was thinking since I do actually plan to live in Ontario if all goes well.
That there is no harm in having extra 600 points, which might make my case a little stronger.
Do you think it would make a difference.
You can't accept the PN nomination after getting and accepting a regular ITA. It will come to your original profile and that is frozen already.
2.
Since I am taking up your time with this question I have another one which I was meaning to ask you in another post.
I am still waiting to get an ECA for my wife which will give me additional 8 points.
I want to add those to my final application for PR since I have already spent that money.
I have an ITA but I haven't submitted my application as yet and because of this I still don't have that personalized document checklist.
My question is that If I submit the PR application what happens next. Do I get the personalized checklist after I do that. When do I need upload the supporting documents and when does the profile get locked.
After submitting the information of this screen, you move to the personalized checklist where you can upload documents as well. You can safely move between your current screen and the document upload screen any number of times. The profile gets locked only after you make the payment.
I am asking this so I know if I should wait until I get the ECA from WES for my wife and then submit the application or can I submit the application now to get the checklist and just update the ECA number before I make the final submission with all the other supporting documents.
You don't need to wait for ECA. You can keep everything ready and upload the ECA whenever you get it and then move to the payment screen.
Thanks a lot in advance !!!
I would not try this.. because it can be considered scamming. When you paid and submitted application, you agreed under the circumstances, the fees are not refundable. I am in the same situation but I am going to eat it. By requesting a lost draft, in my eyes, it's no different then a bounced check, since you agreed to PNP's term and if things go wrong, you could get penalized.home1305 said:Last option to get ur money back is, go to ur bank, tell them your situation,..they will tell you about a lost draft request in which you will state that the draft is lost and there are chances to get the money back in this way.
