Withdrawing from first uni and going to second?

Hello everyone
I got admission in two universities. I submitted the seat deposit in the first university and applied for a visa on its basis. I got the visa and also got acceptance from tue second university. I intend to go to the second university and change my institution on mycic account. My question is how i should withdraw fron the first uni? I did not register for any courses as the program is starting in september and registration will start then. So if i dnt register there for any course and just go to the second uni which is also starting in september, i wont hav to pay anything to the first uni would i?
Anyone tht can help plz do. I wil be grateful

I guess just a simple email to university asking to withdraw from the program should do it.
