Withdrawal of pr card replacement application

Does anyone have experience with approved withdrawal of pr card renew/replacement application? I'd like to know first of all, if they send you the documents you submitted with the application or if they keep everything?

And lastly, if you paid the pr card fee online with credit card, approximately when is it expected to get the refund (given you are eligible!) and how (transaction reversal of cheque mailed to you)?

I withdraw application and apply again my experience is that they will not return documents & photos and when you will apply again they will go through both applications.
