withdraw the request to renew the PR card

Dears

I have a question, is it possible to Cancel the application request for a permanent resident card after the following:

1) i sent the application to renew my PR card then they asked me to come and pick it up from the local office.
2) when i went to pick up the card, an officer interviewed me then he gave me a questionaire.
3) i filled the questionaire and sent it back then after 5 months the asked me for an interview.
4) i sent them a letter asking to postpone the appointment then they accepted and postpone it.
5) now, i want to withdraw my application to renew the PR card.

So,
Firstly,is it possible now to withdraw or it's better to withdraw after i show up in the interview?

Secondly, what's the procedure to withdraw? is a simple letter enough? or there is a specific application to withdraw?

Thirdly, if I withdraw my request, what will happen to my file? is it gonna be closed or there is a decision will be made on me? like does it affect my residency obligation or a removal order will be issued against me?
Forthly, does this withdraw affect my application for the citizenship or not?

Why do you want to withdraw? Did you have less than 730 days as of the time you sent in your application? I dont think you can withdraw once you are issued a questionaire.
