Hi, i’m from Montreal, I’ll be glad if you help me to make a decision, my problem is when I applied the first time 2013 I wrote a wrong date by mistake and after my citizenship exam they sent me the famous RQ, I sent it back but I’m worry about the mistake I did, the number of days stay the same 1095 but the dates are not right, should I stop this application and reapply again or should I wait
Thank you

I sent my application on march 2013, I passed the exam may 2014, the prob is when the agent verified my passport she discovered lot of mistakes on the application, example: I wrote that I traveled on 14march to 30 march but the reality was from 12 April to 29 April , but I accumulate 1095 of physical presence, I received the RQ tow days after exam, I answerd all question and I sent all the documents, now I doubt the reaction of the juge and if will he or she accept this kind of mistakes, it was just a mistake......now I think seriously to stop this application and start another, but I feel very upset I live in Canada since 2005 and I'm not able to be citizen cause of laws.....

You are not a citizen because of your mistakes in the forms, not because of the citizenship laws, you should have verified all the dates and the data, and verify again, you were not filling a lottery ticket, it was an official form to request citizenship.

Ok thank you for the advice but what I have to do now?
Go for the interview with the CJ...if the application is refused then fill one again and be careful with the mistakes, verify everything

You think that the chance to be refused are big
You should talk to a Lawyer. No one here is giving legal advice but opinion. Also, if you did accumulate 1095 days when you submitted the application, then it is not a major problem - you miswrote the month of traveling (March instead of April) - explain to the Judge that it was an honest mistake.

Tallk to an expereinced immigration lawyer before you decide to withdraw

Thank you, do you know if I'll receive the RQ if I apply for the second time because I received it before, the agent on the phone told me that the application gonna be treated separately but I risk to receive the RQ again

belouna you will definetly receive an RQ next time you apply as now you are in one of their triage criteria which is previous citizenship application withdrawal. consider it as a long journey unless cic themselves speed up and have mercy on us. may be this C24 bill will speed up things for people who apply before new bill becomes law

What do you think about my case, is it considered as a fraud and wrong declaration? I wrote to CIC to explain that's was a honest mistake and I didn't do it to increase the number of days bcz I have 1095 days of residence in anyway

It won't be considered fraud since the number of days do not change.

The number changed from 1100 to 1095 what do you think 5 days less but still the legal limit
hmmm... tricky. Note that you need 1096 days on the day that you signed the application. If on the signature date you have 1095 exactly, then I'm afraid you are one day short.
