Yes the AOR is correct and FYI it starts with EP but * is considered arterisk and it is used for security system.
May I know how can you add documents to the application if you have applied online. As you mention that you updated on 15 th April 2015

even when i called for it to update my file ...they say what is your AOR and i said: XEP........and they said, its already been here on your file, so no need to update...means the system is connected...i wanted to update and they said, its here already on file, your AOR...
anyways, i know its AOR....but i need answer to my other questions...

I need immediate assistance, please

My wp rejected today based on the reason that my PNP was not valid by time i applied for WP
Now, i just need answer to the following questions,Please:
1- I got my XEP #, can i apply for bridging wp now? if i dont want to get the extension of my PNP letter?
2- Secondly, can i go to the boundary to restore my status plus to get my wp (though i have no valid status now...i know they say you can apply from within canada too, but just wanted to know your views, no visa no wp with me, can i go to the boundary?)
3- i got my XEP last week, so can i apply for wp or brdging wp on this XEP (AOR or file #)?

I dont know which province you have, but I can say that's enough reason for rejection recently.
I was also rejected same issue.

Unfortunately, you cant apply bridging wp, because you dont have any valid permit status right now.
Therefore, you have to provide the valid pnp certificate or LMIA.

If I were you, I will ask my pnp office to issue work permit supporting letter.
As soon as I get the letter, I will go to near border for applying work permit after restoration.
The reason why you have to go to a border is you have only one option which is to apply for work permit by mail.
You are not qualified to apply for it through online.

anyhow, if we are n the same boat, then what to do?
the pnp office said: they can issue me an extension letter with current employer, but they said: i ll be getting closed wp...and i said, my employer cant wait for me for 3 months, my employer can wait for me only for 2 weeks...
they have sent me the procedure letter but they were also saying that i can go to the border, but at that time i was not sure, as i didnt get the refusal letter at that time, but tomorrow i am gonna call them and ll get detailed info? i am saskatchewan...so if i go nearby border, what abt the restoration thing...you are saying we have to apply by mail....why not online, they have written i need to pay online and print the receipt..so means i have to apply online, isnt it?
so, if i understood you correctly, is it like i have to wait until the restoration status is approved?

Summary is that some people suggested rather go on CA-US border than doing online or paper application. because minor misunderstood on paper/online application turns into a big deal. it could be avoided when you talk in person. Of course if your work permit status is still valid. dont go if expired

but my wp is expired, though i have US visa...but no papers for reentry to canada? what to do?

I got close wp on last Jan and I'm a PR now.

You can pay restoration fee online, but you cant apply for wp online.
So, you'll go to near border with a receipt of restoration fee and your new pnp certificate and all documents CIC required.
If you receive new pnp letter faster than 2 weeks, you have enough to get new wp within 2 weeks.
Hopeful!!

if there is written "no restrictions" on your certificate I guess you get open WP. My certificate has noc and employer name on it. so i asked for a closed one. still waiting. hopefully will not get "surprised"

No, you'll have valid status if you pay restoration fee.
You just say to come to flag pole at US border and then you say to get work permit at Canada border.
So , you'll get close work permit.

so,what should i tell to pnp office guys, that issue me "no restriction one " or is there a crieterion for it to fulfil?
