hi.i wish to study MS in computers in Canada.i don't know if post secondary diploma is fine at a community college.its for a period of 3 yrs.i also saw that one of the members here posted saying there is no scope for diploma there and that job opportunities are very few.if there is anything i can choose under SPP colleges for computer science that has great scope and good job opportunity would be fine.i plan to apply for january 2013 intake.studying abroad is very expensive as we all know and i want to be able to work there after my studies with a good pay just like everyone else.it would be really helpful if someone could tell me something on this.

couldnt understand ur question....u have to decide for ueself if u want to do MS or diploma...diploma is more hands on than MS i believe... experts can tell u more differences. Jobs after both r not a piece of cake u have to work hard in ur studies and be lucky too. A piece of paper(degree/diploma) is not enough to get u a job ...job depends on ur field of studies, ur skills ur profile, luck etc....so dont assume just cause ur doing a diploma or MS job would be lining up for u. I am not trying to discourage u but trying to give u a good picture of the situation. So first thing u should look at is the course u want to study in both MS and diploma and see which one suits u better. Are u research oriented or are u hands on? how much fees for both MS or diploma?u want to live in canada or someday come back?
i am saying all this is because ur choice if very important for ur future career so dont choose ur course just cause someone tells u that jobs pay more for entry level.

nothing is automatic; MS = Job = Great Pay. It depends on the quality of your school, location of where you live (Larger city = more opportunities), previous experiences and connections can lead to better jobs.

there is no fix scores that will guarantee u a job. Jobs r posted or advertised and u have to look for the one that best matches ur profile and then apply...then the employer will look at ur resume and decide if ur a good fit. employers may or may not look for scores but ur work experience, ur college experience(research, thesis, project, volunteer work etc). if the job is same as the work u have done then u would have a good chance unless anyone better than u has applied too. check monster.com for how jobs are advertised.
