Hi Seniors and Forum-mates,

I read a few saying winter is not a good time to immigrate or land. I am waiting for our Visa fron LVO, so if we wait for summer it will be 2nd quarter next year, so I want to ask ...What is you opinion?

Thank you for your input.

Subject to the validity of your visa you can delay the landing. Winter is not good time for most of new immigrants with family. If there is enough money for few months survival without job, bad weather could not be an impediment for settlement. Job hunting is difficult during peak winter period for a new comer.

there are some plus points for landing in winter,
1. you will save on air tickets
2. PR Card processing is way faster

this is from my experience.

Sir

All immigrants have to suffer for 2 months , its your choice - In summers jobs are few in Toronto , as students area available on half rates.

I would advise you to go in winters , you will get job , and by summers will have gained experience to make your position solid.

Stay Blessed
