Winter 2021 also online in most university and colleges

Colleges have started releasing information saying that the January to April semester will also be online. So most likely travel to Canada will not be allowed by the government. so an entire year of online classes while paying international tuition.
All of us on AIP will have to wait till next 2nd year to go to canada.

OMG! That's so unfair. I'm facing somewhat of a similar issue. My intake is jan 21 but I wanna defer if all my classes will be online

No, it's not!! We can't live indoors forever, people have to get out! and people really don't wanna waste years of saving on online classes that can be done from corsera at a fraction of the price

That is your perspective, I am talking about Canadian colleges and IRCC perspective. You can keep deferring it might be 2023 before you can start your coveted in person classes

Every country allows international students, yet canada putting stupid rules like not allowing new students and allowing students from USA, where the quarter of covid19 patients in the world is living. I cannot really comprehend their logic. Allow people to board the plane only if they do not show covid 19 symptoms and have negative pcr test. Then record temperature again on arrival and give the option to either quarantine for 14 days or undergo another pcr test (or even both). If they follow this, how are international students going to negatively affect Canada? In fact, international students will safely contribute to the economy which is much needed now.
