What is a ghost update? How do you know that there is an update? Is it shown on the timeline?

Its like you open your application and there is an update saying profile updated normally it remains as submitted but when you open your application nothing is changed

25 nov application submitted and payment made
26 nov biometric request and medical passed
27 biometrics submitted at vfs karachi
3rd dec 1 ghost update
10 dec 2 ghost update
15 dec biometrics completed
And after thay no update uptill now . Should i submit a webform on ircc website or wait ?? Suggest me guys what should i do as im really worried cause my classes are starting from 6 jan . Thank you

Yes . I sent an email to both Abu dhabi and islamabad visa office.

no correspondence letter . Just the update of biometrics completed on cic website . Eligibility review and background check started on 26 nov at the same time medical was passed

thats exactly what happened on my application on 26th was your biometric number mentioned under your UCI ?or was even that updated on 15 dec
because if your medical was updated on 26th nov your biometrics must have been updated on earlier but they might have not mentioned int he application timeline. processing does not start until they get your biometrics

My biometrics number was updated on 27 nov . But the status of biometrics was updated on 15 dec
