bro, 9 and 10 moharram are on 16 and 17 dec. all offices are closed in pak because of Ashura. chc has not updated their site. 10 moharam is on 17 not 16 dec.

Nope. My mind has not changed for a bit. If I receive my pp by dec 15, it can still be good news but just before xmas, i can not say for sure, it might be bad news. Normally embassy give 2-3 weeks time for preparation and other stuff if visa is finally approved.

@ asad100101: You've been on this forum for quiet some time now. How many people do you remember getting their visas rejected? I was reading an old thread and there was one guy who lied on his application, his permit was denied. Other than him I can't find anyone else getting a rejection

There was another guy from karachi who had some issues with his medical and was refused. He had a telephonic interview with a visa officer which lasted for 45 minutes. He used to live in the USA. I don't know if he was deported from there or not because the visa officer was asking a FBI report from him.

There were three or four students who were refused after medicals im not sure if they were going for a diploma or degree course.

There was 60-70 page long thread "timeline for chc islamabad" there everyone had posted their timeline.

I have asked consultant regarding chc office closing during muhrram ..they told me that they do not shut office ...they will reduce staff...so half of the staff will be on off..where as half will be working...so it's not totally close...

Guys I was checking the status of my application with the computer no on visadropbox.com fedex website. Today it changed to your application is in process. I sent my PP back on the 23rd of Nov after medical. What does this mean. Does it mean that CHC has started to work on it or does it mean that fedex has received my PP back form CHC.
