yes, its a residential area and its not only a small area but a long street. near that street is Manila road..

..We are now on the point of understanding the Winnipeg Way of Life through internet. i am also hoping that all our forum mates will also start doing a little bit of research because all information can be seen and learned just by browsing.

..for your visa, as ive said, you will land ahead of us. so, please dont forget to share your landing experience when you get there. :)

I also noticed you changed your flag already. LoL

Okay, I will just hope that you are the most reliable oracle and will mentally prepare myself to leave in April/May. I think that's your landing date too?

im sure that we are still on top last 2012 & 2013 ..hahaha...pinoy power. i am also lurking in the internet and saw that there is a Dr. Jose Rizal Way and Manila street in Winnipeg...hahaha

This is so true. A friend of mine who's been in Winnipeg for decades used to tell me about this. Filipinos are everywhere too, I was told that it also became an issue that our race should refrain from using our own language publicly because it was so rampant. :D :D :D

hello, from my experience it took me 10 months and 14days -from application date up to receipt of LOA. ..but i have applied by sending hard copies of documents to MPNP. since we are online now, i guess it will reduce the processing by 2-3 months?

for the minimum living cost, i am not sure.. :(

Moreover for online file process you ll get LOA in 15 days and then after all docs are perfect then it is process of maximum 10 months although delhi office official process time is 15 months.
Living cost is for 2 people is $1400 - so on (Depends you next limit :) )

guys help pls!
here's my timeline:
category:PNP
VO: CEM
AOR Received: April 8,2013
File transfer: Oct 15,2013
Meds and RPRF request: Nov 11, 2013
Meds done: Nov 22,2013
RPRF paid thru BD dated Nov 29,2013
Request for add'l documents police and nbi clearance Jan 2,2014,sent to CEM Jan 7,2014
PPR Jan 29,2014

I have a query, CEM sent me an email stated an instruction regarding submission of passport. It's stated there "Your visa(s) will be valid for your initial entry to Canada until December 06, 2014 .
• Please ensure that the validity of your passport(s) is at least six (6) months beyond this validity date (note that any passport received with a shorter validity than the date shown above will result in a reduced validity for entry to Canada for all members of your family, if any). You must submit your passport(s) within 30 days of the date of this letter or your application may be refused for non-compliance according to Subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Please note that no further requests will be sent to you." The validity date of our passports is on SEPT 14,2014, do you think it's still valid? or do i need to renew it first prior sending it to them?

First of all, congratulations on your PPR.

In regards to your query, if you utilize your passport that is valid until Sept 2014 you will need to land before your passport expires. Also, please note that some airports will not allow you to travel if your passport is valid for less than 3 months. Some airports won't allow you to travel if your passport is valid for less than 6 months. So, that means you will need to land either in June 2014 or even earlier, in March 2014. So, if you want to have less stress later, then you renew your passport first before sending them of to CEM.

Good luck.

thanks tabs...question again do you think there will be no problem with the cem if ill submit the renewed one..because as far as I know the passport number will change and would be different from my passport number that I sent to them before?

Isn't there a form included in your PPR? You just state there your new passport in the form and include a photocopy of your previous passport, just for their information.
