In my Loa before it says that the original loa must be attached as a page cover. In the checklist it says a copy of loa. So I scanned and photocopy my loa. made the original as my page cover and included the photocopy according to the checklist. Follow all the instructions and review your documents prior to submission.

Godbless ;)

Hi.
You must have a copy of your LOA for your personal. Or 1set of CIC visa application for your copy
Therefore. Original LOA will be submitted to CIO. Before you close your brown envelop attacth original
LOA at top most. I choose intruction from mpnp written in pink colored paper.

Hope it help.

thanks stephen :)

another question. in my Medical Instructions, we are allowed at least 60 days expiry of our medical. but in my email, it says 30 days? which is correct?

can i ask you a favor of taking a look on your Medical Instruction provided to you?

thanks and God bless

Hi Ramcal,

I checked the email that we received and both medical instruction and the email pertains to 30 days to complete the medical examination.

"You should make arrangements to undergo the required medical examination immediately. Failure

to do so within 30 days of this notice may lead to the refusal of your application for permanent

residence in Canada."

Just to be safe, 30 days will be your basis.

If it was 15-20 years ago, you probably didn't have to mention it because records then were probably hard copies. There are some points that you should think about:

(1) The refusal was a visit visa, not permanent resident visa.
(2) You have a very strong recommendation from Manitoba Immigration, your Nominee Approval.

I don't know about statistics, but visit visas are rejected more often than immigration visas. Because their logic is that perhaps this person wants to come to our country in the pretense of visiting but will overstay. Many people try that because it is not easy to get an immigration visa, it also quicker to get a visit visa. But they have higher doubts of the intentions of visit visa applicants. (Not that I am saying you are, just in general)

As an immigrant applicant, your whole intention is to enter their country to work and live legally. I got rejected 2x by MPNP application and I showed MPNP the copies of my rejected results. Knowing that they have a record of it and it might lessen my chances of being successful. Yet, I still got an LOA.

And don't forget, if you don't declare this and they found out about it, they will consider this as a lie. And that won't allow you any room to even try for an appeal.

Application for visitor visa tends to get refused easily. I have read some articles about this in the past. This is so because immigration usually doubts the real intention of an applicant coming over to their country. Take courage, you have been pre-assessed by MPNP and that qualifies you to have a PR Visa. Just comply with the CIC requirements and everything will work out right.

May the good Lord bless us all! Smiley

hello lalabaul,

when you do your medicals at St. Lukes, did the doctor ask you to provide the vaccination of your children?

thanks for your response.

Don't know the answer ramcal, I don't have any kids yet. Just to be on the safe side, it's better for you to prepare their vaccination history.

Relax and Stay healthy. Godbless

thanks for posting.. actually, i am one of those victims of this language assessment program. i was denied the first time because of the IELTS requirement...but i think overall, this is for the benefit of Manitoba. ..i heard that the employer there finds difficult to hire immigrants because most of those who were granted cannot communicate well. so, i believe IELTS overall band score of 5.0 is not that difficult to achieve...well ,thats only my opinion. :)
