My sponsor was just interviewed! He was interviewed in less than 10minutes and all is well. Ohanne please include me on the tracker and here are my timeline:

hi, we are sponsored by my sister-in-law (sister of my husband).

Here is our timeline
Submitted our application on-line, received file number- march 22, 2013
no additional requirements
sponsor's interview- august 1, 2013
waiting for LOA

what is a possibility of approval if the first nominated sister has no work yet because she just gave birth but her husband has double job and they are now living on their own, they are renting? The immigration officer told our sponsor when she was interviewed, that they will assess first the status of the first nominee.

i am yet to apply this week for mpnp under GS..(my dad's friend). he has recently accepted an offer and joined a university in ontario but he says that he can still sign our sp2. his family will stay there .. and the family will either move in dec or in june 2014. in this scenario..if we apply thn what are the chances ? as he says that his wife n children are still manitoba resident. he has only moved to ontario for job

In my case my step son is my sponsor when they called he is in the office. They interviewed my step daughter and still approval was granted. May be as long as there is a relative who can answer the interview is good enough since your dad's friend is not available.

Hi everyone!! Can i join in this group?

i'm applying under family stream. i got my LOA last week. now i am applying for CIC. i got a few questions.

1. i live in the Philippines, how can i pay my visa? correct me if i'm wrong, will i send my certified cheque in CND $ together with my application form to CIC in Sydney?
or
will i have to pay here in CIC Manila office and send them the receipt?

2. My son and my "common-law" wife is not accompanying in this trip, but i include them as my dependents. am i gonna pay for their visa as well?

Who submitted first you or your sister?

My 2 in laws arrived first. the 1st one landed in winnipeg in Oct. 2010 then she nominated her youngest sister. the youngest sister has no work yet because she gave birth last feb, 2013. but her husband has double job. the first sister has also stable work at Shaw Cablesystems.

Oh i see...they will just evaluate youngest sister status...well, i think there is a good possibility that your loa will be issued...may be next month usually snail post mail will be receive after a month.
