About my application
6th Feb 2013 - Applied online
7th Jun 2013 - Sponsor was interviewed
7th Jul 2013 - MPNP Approval
Mailed documents to CIC – Pending..

I have one question to appliacant who has sent their file to CIC. As I have received LOR and I hadn't submitted IELTS, Do I need to submit IELTS result in my application to CIC. I am Indian national living in UK for last 4 years.

Please help me..

When we have submitted our application last Sept 2012 only those whose nominated profession that falls within NOC C and D are required to submit IELTS, better check the updated CIC checklist to be on the safe side. Good luck bro!

Nope.. It is General Stream.. but with distant relative as sponsor.

Thanks Bro.. I have checked check list and it still says that IELTS is compulsary for NOC C and D.. but doesn't say any thing about NOC A and B. Any idea.. Anyone has same issue and had discussed with CIC. Please update..

You need to have a bank account for at least 6 mos with a balance of at least the 10k requirements and 2k each for every dependent. And you also have to prove you have at least 2yrs work experience.

My father can support me for funds or not ?

As long as you can bring it with for your settlement and it is in your account.

or i will have to show funds at my own?

First of all Congrats on getting ur LOA...coz in general stream its very uncommon 2 get LOA so quickly..u must be a lucky 1...2ndly others are also referring u 2 check the website as IELTS is mandatory for occupation classifeid as NOC or D..(chck out thoroughly)
n last but definitly not least I have an opinion as u r living in an english speaking country for last 4 years MAy be dats da reason y dey wont ask u for ilets ..specially if u went on study visa...den ur Uk visa wud be the proof dat u can speak n undertsand english easily..OL da best..

Hi Anabia.. Thanks.. I think so.. Thanks for confirmation.. I do have called MPNP office to confirm this and they told me that it is for C and D where as my category is B. So shouldn't be a problem.

April 2013 - Request for Medical received
April 23, 2013 - Paid RPRF
April 25, 2013 - Medical done
May 22, 2013 - ECAS Status update "Started Processing application"
June 16, 2013 - ECAS Status update "Medical results have been received"
July 2, 2013 - Received Request for Passport
July 2, 2013 - Mailed PP to CEM
July 3, 2013 - CEM Received PP

Did you apply under MPNP? and from which country did you take your medical?

Because ive done with my medical last june 27 2013 here in Abu Dhabi, UAE just want to know after my medical how many more days or months before they will ask for my passport?

I think you are the first case in GS online who received sponsor interview and LOA.
Rest are still waiting. Even January GS online applicants are waiting for their sponsor interview.

Yes.. Thats true.. I have written in many threads and everybody surprised that eventhough I'm under GS stream, I got LOA. May be they got from my application what they wanted..
