Hi everyone i got a test/ interview request on oct 17 at 110-123 main st and i am traveling on oct 18 what should i do? I am over 55

u hv to request by web for reschedule your test date and attached your Travel Itinerary so they will send you new email when they reschedule your date. i was on same situation and i did same thing .

after request for reschedule thn you hv to wait until new email for your test. they dont let you knw anything they will infom you by eamil bcoz i got my new test date by email. in short u hv to wait for new test date same as 1st time.
If you are travelling on Oct 18, and your test/interview is Oct 17, why can't you attend? You can certainly travel after your test/interview and inform them of your travel plans so that your oath can be scheduled for after your arrival back to Winnipeg.
It is better and easier on the entire process for you to take your test/interview on Oct. 17, just my 2 pennies worth.

Hello there,
Asking question on brother's behalf. He applied for citizenship in April 2018. It is in process since June 27th and no updates after that. He is travelling back home in a month and staying there for 3 months. Is it better to inform CIC now that he will be away or should wait for a test date and then contact them for rescheduling?
Plus he will be getting married back home. So when he comes back here in Middle of Feb should he inform CIC that he is back now plus to update his marital status from Single to Married? How much delay can we expect?
Please suggest. Thanks!!
