I think today CIC is closed for Easter Monday, hope you will get the test invite soon.. hang in there..

I guess CIC might be processing the applications in batches, they might need certain number of applications for Test, Oath etc.. and they might be holding on your application until the batch gets full for next step.

I think they need to have enough applicants (batch of 20+ ) to conduct Test and Oath, they might be waiting for other applicants..

The invite came via regular postal mail. It's a set of 4-6 sheets. My online status also shows:

We sent you a notice on April xx, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on May xxxx, 2017 at xxx. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

That's a bummer. Sorry pal, am no expert at this stuff and don't know what to say. What does the online eCas say? Is it still stuck at "we started processing your application on xxxxxx"?
