Our oath ceremony is finally scheduled on Wednesday Dec 16 at 1:30 pm, over 5 months after writing the test (on July 7). I hope people still waiting will get their letters soon. javascript:void(0);

I am from Winnipeg and applied for citizenship in Sep., 2012. I took the citizenship test on April 7th 2014 and a month later I received the RQ and responded to that with strong supporting documents on June, 1, 2014. Since that time I have not heard anything back from CIC and every time I call they say it is in process. It has been almost 40 months. Do we have anyone having the same experience? I am not sure if it will ever gets finalized. Some people say it will take for ever and they will not process it till one decides to withdraw the application. Any information on this is highly appreciated.

My advice, write a email to the new Immigration minister, or as your MP to ask them.
they must answer him within 14 days.

I already contacted the MP. However, he is not helping that much. I have not ordered ATIP since last September. Hopefully they will finalize that by March 31, 2016 as they are claiming but I am doubtful.

Received: February 5, 2015.
AOR: March 10, 2015.
In Process: March 11, 2015.
Test: July 13, 2015
Oath: December 15, 2015 ;D
