I received the letter first then ECAS updated 5 days after. 2 weeks notice to appear on the Ceremony upon receiving the letter! hope that helps!
Thanks for that. Do you know how long it took to get the letter after it went to "Decision Made" on ECAS? Of course, you would probably only know this if you were checking ECAS everyday!

Anyone in Winnipeg who can give an approximate recent "Decision Made" to Oath timeline? Last year it was taking about five weeks. Is it longer now?

About a month. Other people in other cities say they are waiting months and months to get the oath after DM. Trying to figure out if Winnipeg is on the same timeline. Last year it was actually just a little more than a month from DM to oath--well, at least in one case I am familiar with.

Yes, CIC Winnipeg is pretty bad. Notices sent to the home address that has no mail delivery even when there is a mailing address on file, notices sent five days before the test and other stupid things.

And thats the worst part. It has been 4 months for me already from DM and I see no organizational system in CIC whatsoever. Their lack of co-ordination and the extreme disparity in scheduling oaths among the regional offices simply amazes me.I mean look at BC & QC,extremely fastrack in scheduling oaths, ON and AB are not too bad either; but the rest of Canada(what a mess!) I understand these folks represent 80% of Canada's demographic, but seriously thats no way to treat the rest of the applicants worst than a tight end at 6th string
BTW, CIC-WPG is stuck up north Thomson/thePas/Flin Flon area for the north/Nunavut applications(seriously do any immigrants live in Nunavut, though!!!)so looks like a bleak situation in the next few weeks(possibly untill Dec and they are actually gonna shut up shop for the holidays), so the current situation is grim, well at least till the new year.

Winnipeg office is the Worst. I belive that sometimes last year they downgraded the number of staffs assigned for the citizenship dept. Winnipeg office is the designated office for processing refuges applications so they might be busy lately. I have been trying to reach the CIC WPG office via fax or email however no positive result has been achieved thus far.

UGH. Things appeared to be picking up pace a little in Winnipeg over the course of 2014-2015, but now it seems like they are rushing to DM, while the time to oath has slowed down dramatically. One step forward, two steps back....

Yeah, well I'm planning to get my MP involved; have them co-ordinate with someone at CIC to get some answers. The next few weeks will be busy for me, but if I dont hear from CIC, by December 1st, I'm definitely going to give my MP a shout. I have a fed. government job lined up for early next year that requires me to have citizenship to obtain security clearances and such; and thats why I wanted to sort this out before the year end which is looking increasingly bleak at the moment.Unlike some people who only care for citizenship so they can obtain a passport and enjoy the travel or other pension/social security benefits; I really need to get my case done before the year end so I can apply for the job. Seems a worthless wait at this point, but will update if something comes along.

Yeah, there is really no excuse to have no oaths in Winnipeg for the rest of the year. Hell, send me to Brandon or Thompson. I'll make the drive.

Great news Winnipeg, there's an Oath Taking ceremony on December. Check your mails! My sister got her invitation today, ECAS not updated. Oath taking on December 15, 2015!

She applied the same time as me and my wife!

Hmmm.... well this is getting so annoyingly frustrating now :(((( Is CIC WPG still keeping their 3-5 month oath promise as indicated on the Test/Interview day, coz I'm getting into the 5th month soon and got nothing so far. By the way, does anyone know how long after they mail you the oath notice, the oath ceremony takes place. This is such a callous attitude of CIC towards the hard working immigrants. There's no transparency in the functioning of CIC and its in a state of a complete mess, with CIC officials and staff renowned for being, extremely laid back and lackadaisical in handling and processing cases. Just dug up this piece of news of a corrupt CIC official - check it out cicsnews.com/?p=851
There's just no excuse for this pathetic treatment.
