Windsor Citizenship applicants

i submitted my pp copies in the webform both passports covering 5 years with a note that if it helps to speeden things up please do i also told them i applied for imagery tech with canadian armed forces but i was told that i need to get citizenship before application lets see if they will make any movement i highly doubt it but hopefully we get to be citizens till end of this year

1. Just 1 lady working in the Windsor office as confirmed by my case officer and she requested her to get my certificate ready for pick-up. Rest of staff maybe working from home or on 699 leaves

2. Btw.. today, there were 88 people for oath and judge told that only 65000 people have taken oath from last year april

1. ya possibly 699 as files are not moving.
2. 88 number is good. hopefully the increase to 100-200 to clear the backlog.
Now oath is the bottleneck. Earlier everything was as they were doing pilot testing on the Test rather than sending invite. As they wasted time on conducting less oath in the past 10 months, now backlog grew. They never matched the oath invitation with test invitations.

There were only 3 applicants from Windsor office which included 1 senior citizen

?? What do you mean? There were 3 people from windsor in your oath session?

3 applicants taking oath with you? thats pretty slow damn slow there were a few applicants who were waiting for dm since feb they have now got oath dates too dont know man when will our turn come feels so dissatisfied with the whole process dont know if Trudue looses what will be the next governments policy to clear this backlog

Ideal will be to discuss your interest and profile with CAF recruiter and get feedback in email from CAF.

Once you have that, send that email with your UP request and see the magic !

Yes ... Total of 3 applicants including myself were from windsor.

Congrats @rafzy that was amazing with you, I can't believe that case officer was so quick and as I assumed the ceremony was not from Windsor office as there would be more invitations if they had organized it

I will suggest you send your passport pages with web form anyways I did on thursday it will go in your file it will skip a step I know a guy who did it never got the interview only oath.

I think that we would move to next stage(either interview and/or DM) this year as it will be 4-5 months after Test(hence hoping next stage would on the cards this year).
I am still confused on how oath dates are having less wait times for some offices even though some oath schedules are combined with people from multiple locations. So if this still continues then we may see oath within this year.

Lets see how things go in Sep-Oct.

I was thinking to wait till Friday morning and then send the same request directly to Windsor Office and see if they accept it.
