Hi everyone,
I submitted an express entry profile by mistake in April this year. I was just trying to experiment with how the point system works. This profile had many mistakes as I was not trying to be accurate or actually submit an express entry application( including mistakes in my name and work history). I withdrew that profile only 20 minutes after submitting it. now I am creating a new one as I have an ITA but the old "messed up" withdrawn profile is still there and it still has its reference number.

will the officer who reviews my case consider this profile as well? or will they only consider the one that recieved an ITA?

should I revoke my GCKEY and create a new one and link only the new profile to it? or should I keep it as it is?

Any thoughts or experiences are appreciated. Thanks a lot and good luck with your applications.

Previous profile wouldn't have any effect on new one. However, fact hiding would definitely have. In any case they'll get to know that you've applied earlier as well. So don't hide this fact.
(Please refer other responses as well, don't solely rely on above reply.)

Thanks alot for your reply. I am not trying to hide any facts. I am just a little OCD about documents relayed issues as I have had many bad pasy experiences before. any way I think this makes sense. any other responses are much appreciated.

Did you submit e-APR last time? If not you shouldn't worry too much about that. From the software developer point of view, they don't even see what you did there unless you submit your PR application and pay the fee. If you aware, the system logs everything you did into a central db. If every times officer looks anybody profile involving in querying out that data table, the entire system will be hung because that table probably store billion of billion actions.

No e-APR was submitted. just an express entry profile that I withdrew 20 minutes later after submission. Thank you for your reply.
