will tourist vacation to other country affect pr application

Sir I would like to know if taking a tourist vacation could affect a pr application? the situation is that my wife is in Canada and filed her permanent residency including mine as she want to sponsor me, I her husband is working in a different country and sometimes we have a company tourist vacation, would this affect my wife's application. My wife is a bit worries if going out of the country would affect our application. Thank you

Did you apply inland or outland? It technically has no effect on your application, but the concern is if she applied inland, then there is always a chance she will not be let back in the country. If that happens your entire application is nullified. The risk is probably small but it's there. If she applied outland then you are free to leave any time. Is she here on a visa right now?

sorry my question was unclear, well I her husband, I will be the one to travel abroad as a tourist to Cambodia, now my wife is in Canada working as a caregiver and she just recently sent her PR application under live in caregiver application, she's worried that if go out of the country even as a tourist it could affect her/our application.

You still didnt answer the question if you applied inland or outland.

It sounded like your wife applied outland PR application. If this is correct assumption, then it doesnt matter if your wife or yourself travel outside Canada. It has no effect on your PR application.
