Will the officer access a form submitted via webform before returning the application?

Hi all,

My sponsorship application (inland common-law partner with work permit) was received on Jan 30th, 2019. However, I realized that our "Additional Family Information" form (5406) was missing:

- the country of current address (although I mentioned ON as the province of applicant and sponsor, and the current country of the other family members is the same country of birth mentioned there);
- N/A on the children's section;
- the "Relationship" for brother and sister (although they are in section C which is for siblings).

Since we also wanted to update the email address of the applicant's brother, I uploaded a complete and updated 5406 form through the webform and received the confirmation that it was received and forwarded to the office. For the webform, I provided the sponsor's UCI and applicant's official receipt's number.

Please, does anyone know if the officer will check for any updated forms before returning my application? I would like take the necessary steps to avoid the return of my application.

Any help will be truly appreciated.

you sent your application a week ago.....likely it has not been reviewed.......you may send the updated form and a copy of your payment receipt through webform to IRCC Mississauga.

It worked (my application did not return), but your chances are higher if you have a number so they can upload the document to your file immediately, otherwise the document will be somewhere waiting until an officer receives your paperwork so the officer may return your application before seeing the document. Although I did not have my application number yet, I already had my UCI from my own PR application.
