I have managed to get a reference letter from myx-employer. But for some reasons they aren't giving me any salary slips. My salary was under tax bracket so never cared to file(i know should have) but didn't.

Effectively i im only left with 2 things
1. Reference letter in the required format
2. Relieving letter

Do you think this would work? As i have seen people in the forum asking others to submit joining, appraisal letter or ITR which unfortunately I don't have or won't get.

You are only required to provide a reference letter

Reference letter is enough.

Also, yo, you should have filed and gotten a sweet refund - you get more credits for being "low-income" I think.

Reference letter is enough. Though the reference letter along with salary, work hours and responsibilities also require an email address, phone number and physical address.

Pay stubs, appoinment letter are needed when the employer is not able to issue you a reference letter.

I only provided reference letters and my eligibility is passed. Provided ALL of stated requirements are listed in the letter. If one or more are missing, I would add on salary slips and a LOE just to be on the safe side.

Wow, thank you all. Yes the reference letter has everything. I will go ahead and submit just that.
