Hi All,

I am living at my current rented apartment for more than 3 years now. All my documents have this address. But I and my wife are moving out this month for a road trip around Canada for 1 year. That means we will not have any fixed address for about a year.

I am planning to apply for the passport by next week. Is it okay if I use my current address as my Driving license has the same. I hope I will receive all the correspondence through Email. Will there be any use of my address? Would this create any problem later on?

Please advise!

You can get a mail box rental from UPS with a real street address (not PO box). They will hold your mail, but not sure if they can forward the mail as most of IRCC mails say do not forward.

If possible, the best option would be to use either your relatives or friends address as your mailing address. As long as you are in Canada, that should suffice for writing test and taking oath. Good luck!

Thanks canVisa13,
Do I have to submit any address proof as well? or any consent form?
No proof required to be submitted or anything to be signed specific for address related.
