I am in a tricky situation, I applied for Canada study permit in may 2020 from India and due to vfs closure I was not able to provide my biometrics. I received my AIP on August 13th and commenced my study online. As VFS opens in India next week I will be giving my biometrics but I had a previous US visa rejection and did not mention it in my application. I had a h4 (dependent of H1B) visa rejection in 2018 when I was 16 years old due to my dads h1b getting rejected.

When I filled in my application I was only 17 years and in the Canada visa application section it said I only need to delclare previous visa rejections If I am 18 years of age or older. But now I am 18 years old will this affect my visa ?

Someone about a month ago posted about getting rejected after AIP for that same reason. The post was kind of weird as he changed it from "I got rejected" to "my brother got rejected" to "my friend". So I don't know if it's authentic

It’s also weird that half of the posts here are “my friend did ...” don’t know why aren’t the “friends” here asking for themselves instead of letting someone else ask for them
