Will my status change automatically?

Hi all,
I submitted my application on 20th,
since then my status has been showed
'We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.'
Will it change to 'Open' automatically?
How long does it probably take?
It has been 2 days so I am kinda worried.

it can take a few weeks to two months for updates. Which category are you in?

I am in EE federal skilled worker.
Got a phf file says I am in the pool when finished submitting.
But the status should be Open right?

It won't change to open. That was old wording. CIC changed their status wordings

Did you submit your application or did you just enter the pool. Your original post stated that you submitted your application. If your score is 646, you should have revived an ITA already

I thought I have done both. I got a PDF message later on 19th says welcome to the pool.
Is that a valid application for the next draw?

You haven't applied. You can't apply unless you have been invited to apply. You have just entered the pool.
