hi guys,

i created my profile on the 3rd November and currently the the CRS is 479. however, my birthday is coming up in January and my age would no longer be in the 20-29 range. so i was curious to know if i don't get an ITA in the meantime and my age changes, would my CRS score change?

that wouldn't be a very good birthday gift i must say! :o :'(

Yes it would drop. However, with 479 till Jan, you have a good chance of receiving ITA. So cheer up and start preparing your docs.

shoot!! that's so bad. :(

i just hope i get the ITA soon!!

You have a good change of getting an ITA with CRS 479 in the next couple of draws. Even if your score drops by 5 points, your CRS will be at 474, which is still a good enough score for ITA as we have seen it drop till 450 in the last couple of months.

So all the best for tomorrow as its speculated that there may be a draw and you may get ITA. Cheers!

479 to 474 isn't bad at all. i can really say that you still have a good fighting chance for ITA even next year (assuming the trend would continue, that is 450 and above 'cutoff').

Most probably u would get an ITA in the next draw
Might be tomorrow

I applied in July, and my birthday was in August. I did drop 5 points when I became older by a year.
But then in October, something happened in the CIC because I received an email saying that my application has been updated. When I checked my EE application, the 5 points were indeed returned.
I think this will happen to you too, every application is valid for a year, and if your age changes during that year it wont/shouldnt matter, because you were 29 at the time of applying. But I think when you want to apply for a new application after it expires, that's when you will definitely lose the points, because you will be older at the time of applying.

my Birthday is in March and i am so worried...I dont want to loose 5 points.
I am praying that i get invitation before March

Me too!
I've been at 448 all year, and have been teased by some close draws, but in 2 weeks i drop down to 443.
And i hold little hope for the draws to go that low. :(
