I am PR and sponsoring my wife. The application went well, she passed all of the 4 conditions (Biometrics, Medical, Eligibility and Background).

The thing is she got pregnant and delivered our newborn just 1 month before the COPR -> so we emailed the local IRCC office and they allow us to add the newborn to our application.

After the baby is 3 months old and ready for medical exam, today we received the Medical Request (MR) for my newborn, so I have some questions:

1/ From the rumors I know, the MR for newborn will be very simple: Dr will just need to clarify baby's identity and that's it, is it the case?
2/ The cost will be the same as for Adult MR?

3/ After this MR, if everything go well, both of my wife and my newborn will receive Passport Request and Visa? any other extra fee and/ or sterp
4/ With that Visa, both of my wife and newborn will receive eCOPR when they arrive YVR?

5/ I am going to apply for my CA Citizenship at the end of Feb 2024 -> hopefully to get it by Aug 2024 -> after that I can apply citizenship for my newborn?
6/ In BC, for new immigrant, to receive MSP, there are 3-months-waiting period, in that 3 months, we should buy private insurance for my newborn? If so, please give me show reference.

Thanks!

3. Don't know about timing but yes, they will both receive.
4. Yes they will both have COPR (not ecopr) signed on aeroval and will be PRs.
5. Yes, you can apply for citizenship of child after you get it (if the child is a PR by then). (Hypothetically may be possible to add child to your citizenship app once they arrive but given timing it might complicate and delay things)

Thanks, anyone can help me with #1, 2 and 6 please?
1. Don't know.
2. Not sure. If the c;hild do not need X-ray, then the cost should be lower. But since I don't know 1, I can't tell if they still charge the same.
6. You will need health insurance to cover for emergency. If your child need any normal visit, you will need to pay out of pocket until the child is covered by MSP.

For 1& 2 -
This is the clinic (in canada) my kids went to do the medical exam, the charge is less than that of adult, and the test needed to be done is different from adult, you can check the details in the clinic website:
