Will my application be considered for FSW..??

Hi,
I have applied for FSW and dispatched my documents to the CIO last week. My documents reached NS, CIO on Monday (Aug 19th 2013) and fortunatly on the same day, the cap limit was updated and the count for NOC 2174 is 278 (22 applications are accepted further).
Can I consider that my application will be accepted and fall under the 300 cap limit or am I too late for this year and do i have to wait for 2014 to apply again..??

It depend when the completeness check happens.
Some files are returned quickly so if they do completeness count at that early stage, you might be OK, but if completeness = PER stage then sadly you may not be OK.

to be honest with u i think u will not make it this year,
try next year

Someone should be honest with you. No - your application definitely won't make the cap.

CIC has just started processing applications received at the beginning of June and the cap has almost been reached. The count on the CIC site does not reflect applications received - it reflects the number of applications reviewed and deemed complete. This means the cap will be reached before CIC finishes with June applications and there is therefore absolutely no chance your application will be considered.

Sorry - hopefully you will qualify next year.

Thanks for the response my friends.. I guess I will have to make myself ready for next year then.. I have few more follow up questions..
Since I submitted my Originals IELTS with the application, if I have to apply again next year, and Since I will not get another copy of my IELTS certificate from BC, Do i have to take up this exam again..?? And I paid the fees in the form of draft so, if the cap limit reaches and if my applications does not move forward, how should i get the refund for the application fees..?? It is a substancial amount of 1100 CAD.

I applied on 2 june 2013 now the 2174 cap is filled and i did not recieve any acknowledgment from them. Am I out from the race or still have chances to get acknowledgment please tell me
My agent is telling me to have some patience for next one week i will get file number . Because some people who applied on 2174 got file number

If your application / file was returned to you then you are definitely not within the cap.

@toom , regarding the IELTS , you can get another copy of the results after paying some fees ,

Additional TRFs beyond these five can be requested from the Test Centre which issued the TRF. Please note, an administration fee may be charged for additional TRFs. If you have lost your TRF, please contact the Test Centre which issued your TRF
