Will medical request/call be sent again by CHC islamabad?

Hi,

This is nazia siddiq from karachi.

I applied for student visa for winter semester, 2011 but was refused on the basis of not providing full documentation. The reason XXX was specified by a visa officer and was told to re-apply again.

I applied again on feb 15, 2011 and waiting from CHC,ISL.

Previously, I got my medical call in 13 days.

My questions are:

1. Medical results are valid upto one year. So, will they send me medical and instructions form again?

2. My file number is already written on the back page of my passport. Can they pull out information regarding my medical results?



Can I expect a final decision from them without being called for a medical call?

Any feedback? Thanks

The processing time is around 3 or 4 months for student visa/permit at CHC Islamabad. You still have a long way to go.
 
You did not answer my question, though. Will they send me medical request again second time, this is what I'm asking?

Yes, 3 or 4 months?

Given proper documentation and medicals done on time, it should not take more than 2 months.

My classes are starting on May 5,2011.
 
Nazia, any news on your visa yet? I applied for study permit in early late feb and no response from CHC ISB yet.
 
Hi. What is your timeline? CHC does not issue study permits 20-25 days prior to the commencement of classes so I'm not expecting final decision before Mid April.
 
my application was received at CHC ISB on Feb 22. How do you know they don't issue the visa 20-25 days prior to commencement of classes? Do you have any authentic source for this information? When was your application received at CHC ISB (not the date you sent)?
 
Search "timeline for CHC Islamabad" thread on the forum. It is a LOng thread. Many pakistanis posted their timeline. Use search button. You should get your medical request first if you are applying first time .did u apply for summer semester?
 
I don't think this is a credible source of information unless it is documented on CiC website or elsewhere. Every case is different however it takes a minimum of 4 weeks to a maximum of 9 weeks for processing the study permit. I don't think it has anything to do with the commencement of classes.

My classess start in mid may. What school are you going to?
 
That's great news. I don't know where you live in Pakistan. It will take 25-30 days for you to get your passport back from the date you do your meds. When did you get your med request and when did you send your passport back?

No you will not get another call for a medical. Unless the vo requests further documents you need to be patient 9 weeks is not a long time it will be over soon. You will have your second rejection letter which you can file with your first!
