Hi everyone,
I am currently waiting for my PR application to be finalized under Express Entry (EE) - Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) category. Here’s my situation:
Since my nomination provided the extra 600 points, I am concerned whether IRCC could reassess my eligibility or require proof of continued employment. Given that my nomination had no employer restrictions and my PR is in the final stage, do I need to notify IRCC if I lose my job? I know that I will need to contact BCPNP for sure.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
I am currently waiting for my PR application to be finalized under Express Entry (EE) - Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) category. Here’s my situation:
- My employer in BC helped me apply for BCPNP in early 2024
- I used the provincial nomination to claim 600 additional points and submitted my EE profile. I was quickly invited and applied for PR.
- As of now, all my eligibility checks are passed, medical and biometrics are completed, and I’m just waiting for the final decision.
- My PNP certificate has already expired, but it had no employment restrictions (stated as "No" in the restrictions section).
